On transition ... and gratitude
This weeks Positive Action suggestion was to send a thank-you card or letter to someone who has had a positive influence on you and let them know how much their words and actions have meant in your life.
I've been thinking about this for the past few days and trying to decide who I would write to. I woke up this morning with the letter already written by my subconscious mind as I slept. In just a few minutes after awakening, the letter was emailed to my ex-husband.
The influence he has had on my life has been profound and my experience with him has literally changed my life, ultimately connecting me to where I am supposed to be and doing the work I am meant to do.
Our experienced together was ruled by addiction, betrayal and significant emotional pain. However, through the pain and stuggle, and with the support of family, friends, mentors and coaches, I have connected to the essence of who I am. I am grateful for our journey together, the lessons learned, the path discovered. Thank you, Ward.
